Overview

We are a dedicated department committed to fostering a positive environment, one patient at a time. Our team includes Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatric social workers, Counselors, Research associates, Nurses, Students and Office staff.



Infrastructure

Our inpatient services include male and female psychiatry wards, a de-addiction ward, and semi-special and special inpatient facilities. Additionally, we offer a variety of outpatient specialty clinics, including those for OCD, child guidance, de-addiction, neuropsychiatric care for the elderly, psychomotor issues, senile disorders, memory concerns and individual and family counseling.



Interventional psychiatric services

We are dedicated to providing our patients with the latest advancements in mental health treatments, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Our services include pharmacological management, EEG-assisted ECT, TDCS, biofeedback, and ketamine therapy.



Psychosocial interventions

The department also offers a wide range of psychosocial interventions and assessments, including IQ assessments, neuropsychological evaluations, projective tests, personality assessments and psychosocial evaluations. We also provide psychological therapies such as CBT, behavioral therapy, cognitive retraining, couple therapy, marital therapy, family therapy, and sex therapy, along with biofeedback training. In addition to these services, we organize workshops and seminars aimed at promoting mental health awareness.



De-addiction programme

We offer both inpatient and outpatient de-addiction services for various substance and behavioral addictions, including alcohol, gambling, tobacco, and cocaine. Additionally, we conduct community-based de-addiction camps and specialized camps for VIPs through the Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP).



Tobacco cessation clinic

At Tobacco Cessation Clinic (TCC), Our goal is to develop personalized treatment plans to assist individuals in quitting tobacco. We offer one-on-one consultations with trained professionals and provide nicotine replacement therapies, including gums, lozenges, and patches



Kshema Wellness

At our student wellness Center, We Strive for a stress-free campus by offering a variety of services, including counseling sessions, yoga classes, a Toastmasters club, peer counseling, and training. Kshema Jyothi : Day care centre

Our rehabilitation center offers structured programs for patients, both individually and in groups.

Our team includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, psychiatric social workers, counselors, and nurses, each contributing their unique skills and expertise to create a comprehensive daily program for patients.

Services provided include recreational activities, opportunities for socialization, celebrations of various cultural events, and support for family empowerment.

The Kshema Jyothi Day Care Centre is open to all psychiatric patients.



Kshema Sandhya: Unique care for geriatric population

At our KSHEMA Sandhya, we encourage senior citizens to participate in activities such as reading (books and magazines), TV games, yoga, and other group activities to enhance their functioning and well-being. A qualified staff nurse and an assistant are on hand to meet the needs of the residents. All of these facilities, including food and transportation, are provided at no cost. The program is open to all senior citizens.



Nitte Day Care Centre

The Nitte Day Care Centre is situated near Pumpwell Circle in Mangalore. It offers expert consultation services from 8 AM to 8 PM at an affordable price.



Thudar Rehabilitation Services at Nitte

Nitte's rehabilitation services assist individuals in regaining their abilities and daily functioning that may have been lost or affected due to illness or disability.
