Government of India has chosen Justice KS Hegde Charitable Hospital, a unit of Nitte(Deemed to be University) to establish a Diagnostic Centre for Inherited Disorders, a DBT-UMMID Initiative to screen pregnant women and newborns in the Aspirational District Wayanad-Kerala.
